SPILT’s highly awaited binaural album hits stores as limited edition vinyl run announced

[13 May 2020]

Celebrating the launch of the vinyl edition of their explosive No Ball Games album, SPILT have simultaneously released the immersive audio version of their acclaimed debut LP.

With the limited edition vinyl run of the album now available on pre-order [link], the release of No Ball Games’ Binaural edition is a response to a growing volume of requests from the band’s accelerating fan base.

SPILT began the summer of 2019 with a string of intense releases of their innovative immersive tracks, including Sickly Fit EP and seven Binaural singles. Following that piledriver eight consecutive weeks of releases, the band has surrendered to popular demand and released the final six tracks to complete the immersively-mixed, binaural-only edition of the LP.

Mixed in Dolby Atmos, the tracks have been released across all digital platforms for fans to enjoy the full album with headphones while staying at home. For those with larger set-ups and speaker arrays, SPILT have made their full album available to download in Dolby Atmos format from their merchandise platform, Amplifyd.

Alongside the release of their first full immersive album, SPILT has also announced the release of their highly anticipated merchandise line on Amplifyd, where the limited run of their No Ball Games Vinyl album has been made available to purchase, featuring all 13 tracks. Fans can now buy this and a selection of No Ball Games memorabilia through their online shop.

The partnership between Jacaranda Records and Amplifyd has kicked off with the Liverpool-based record label becoming the first UK music business to offer Immersive or 3D Audio downloads direct to fans, with the opening tranche of tracks in both Dolby Atmos and Binaural formats made available for download exclusively on Amplifyd’s platform this week.
