Album Launch Shows, Voice-o-Graph Recordings, and the release of a Jacaranda Records Exclusive Edition Vinyl filled the agenda last month at Jacaranda Records.

‘Memorial’ kicked the month off with our first of four instore shows. The folk-pop duo were in their element in the candlelight of our backroom bar, their debut album is not one to miss! The next show was completely different to anything we’ve put on yet: grime artist and TikTok sensation ‘Central Cee’ took to the stage and was light up by the phones of the lucky fans who managed to see him in such an intimate setting, before heading up to road to the Arts Club to spit some bars to the sold out crowd.

The next day saw the return of Everything Everything to Jacaranda Records, who were our first signing almost seven years ago at our original location in the Jacaranda Club. It was great to see them again and we’re all looking forward to next time!

We also teamed up with Modern Sky to release an exclusive edition of Michael Head and ‘The Red Elastic Band’s new album ‘Dear Scott’ of which 100 copies sold out overnight! Due to such high demand for the record, we provided a Jacaranda Records Edition of the record on CD to coincide with our third instore of the month: Michael Head at Phase One.

Our collaboration with the Liverpool Icon didn’t stop there however, we also popped down to The Jacaranda to see what he could conjure in the Voice-o-Graph Booth. A beautiful version of the track ‘Freedom’ from the album was produced on acetate, and a lucky winner who purchased the album from us is going to receive the unique, one off 7”, to be announced soon! The final show of the month saw Alfie Templeman, a 19 year old singer-songwriter from Bedfordshire who is immensely talented and absolutely floored us with his performance. We were also particularly impressed with the level of detail put into the LP of his debut album ‘Mellow Moon’, of which we still have a few left in store!
