Aimée Steven’s latest single – Better Off Dead – is out on Jacaranda Records today.
The new single is Aimée Steven’s first release with Jacaranda Records, marking the opening shots of a fresh creative partnership between the label and an indie-pop singer, whose work has seen here steadily start to garner headlines since emerging onto the scene early this year.
Echoing Jacaranda Records’ commitment to working with local talent and grass roots artists, the latest track from the self-proclaimed proponent of “red beret pop with a Scouse twist”, was mixed and produced by seasoned Liverpool producer/engineer Jon Withnall in the label’s custom built immersive audio studio.
Utilising binaural, 3D Audio technologies to emphasise the soulfull tonality of Steven’s’ voice, Better Off Dead is the first in a series of collaborations between Aimée Steven and Jacaranda Records, with Better Off Dead kick-starting a new chapter of on a range of upcoming projects and releases for both the singer and her new label.
