The Essex trio, Bilk, set the Phase One stage ablaze with their genre-blurring mix of punk and indie. Their tales of suburban disillusionment, delivered through punchy rhythms and catchy hooks, further affirmed their reputation as one of the most promising bands in the UK.
Jacaranda also hosted the talents of Conor Selby, a London-based singer-songwriter renowned for his soulful voice and bluesy guitar work. Selby’s performance was a masterclass in blues-infused rock, with fans enthralled by his rich, heartfelt vocals and his exceptional prowess on the guitar.
The highlight of the month, however, was Record Store Day 2023.
