Jacaranda promises biggest year of shows yet as Jacaranda Records turns 10
The Jacaranda has been a Liverpool legend for over 60 years, recognised as one of the UK’s most iconic grassroots music venues. Jacaranda Records, our independent record shop, has been carrying that legacy forward, and 2025 marks a big milestone: 10 years of Jacaranda Records!
Since opening in 2015, Jacaranda Records has become one of Liverpool’s top independent record stores and a major hub for album launch events across the UK. With a decade behind us, we’re gearing up for our biggest year yet, promising Liverpool music lovers some unforgettable moments.
Veso Mihyalov, our Head of Bookings said: “The launch of Jacaranda Baltic in 2024 opened up new opportunities for us. We thought it might take time to gain traction, but within a month, we had Shed Seven celebrating their first #1 album on-stage, album launch shows with The Libertines, Tom Odell and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes. It’s been incredible to keep bringing these amazing acts to Liverpool!”
Looking back, 2024 was packed with incredible album launch shows featuring artists like Courteeners, Blossoms, Kaiser Chiefs, The Libertines, Michael Kiwanuka, Crowded House, Wunderhorse, Jacob Collier, James Bay, Becky Hill, Jess Glynne, and Pixie Lott. And we’re just getting started.
Jack Rowley, Marketing & PR said: “Michael Kiwanuka’s show in 2024 was our fastest-selling event—tickets sold out in under five seconds. While some fans were disappointed, we quickly added a second show. With what we’ve got planned for 2025, I can confidently say that record won’t last for long at all.”
The lineup for 2025 is already shaping up to be just as impressive, with Franz Ferdinand, David Gray, The Wombats, and Father John Misty already confirmed for upcoming events.
