The new year kicked off with a bang at Jacaranda Records, with the Phase One stage seeing a host of remarkable artists delivering unforgettable performances.
Gabrielle Aplin lit up Jacaranda Phase One with her enchanting melodies and heartfelt lyrics. The English singer-songwriter, known for her unique blend of folk and pop, captivated her audience with an intimate performance that demonstrated her emotive storytelling and undeniable vocal prowess.
Next up, the Liverpool-born band, Space, offered a thrilling display of their innovative indie rock sound. Their distinctive fusion of pop, techno, and humour-filled lyricism had fans jumping to their beats in a spirited throwback to the ’90s.
Jacaranda Phase One also hosted two nights of Gaz Coombes, former Supergrass frontman, who delivered a powerful performance of his alternative rock tracks. Coombes’ raw energy and distinct musical style provided a mesmerising experience for fans new and old.
Over at The Cavern, Wunderhorse emerged with a show-stopping performance that had fans on their feet. Their unique brand of indie-pop infused with elements of funk and disco proved to be a hit, with the crowd captivated by their charismatic presence.
Finally, JW Francis took the stage at Jacaranda Phase One, adding an injection of New York indie rock to the line-up. His performance was filled with jangly guitars and infectious hooks, leaving the audience eagerly awaiting more from this exciting talent.
